With a modest presence in GSA and Government Leasing going back to the late 1990’s, in 2011 Urban Investment recognized a greater opportunity to aggregate, optimize management at scale, and institutionalize the asset class for investment. Over the last 10 years we have transformed the way these buildings are operated, how they are monetized, and how Institutional Investor’s view and approach the asset class.
Today, UIRC is not only a preeminent owner/operator of Government Leased assets in 30 states, numbering more than 130 properties, we also occupy positions of leadership and influence in the industry with Board and Executive Committee positions on the National Federal Developers Association, Chairmanship of the Midwest Chapter of the NFDA, as well as direct consultation with the relevant government agencies which oversea and otherwise direct policy surrounding government property leasing.
